It's with sadness that I inform you guys that Co Co has left us. I've been meaning to do up a video for him, but my video app crashed and did not have the time to redo the video all over :( In any case, a blogpost should serve as a memorial for this little guy.

A little background of what had happened about a month before his passing...

CoCo was diagnosed with tumour in his testicles. Apparently, it is quite a common sickness among the Syrian breed. His health deteriorated rather quickly after his diagnosis. As my family had made a decision not to operate on him, there was nothing much we could do, other than continue to shower him with love and care, paying more attention to his needs šŸ’›

On the last week of July, his health took a turn for the worst.. He was dehydrated, poop couldn’t come out... a few days later, he had diarrhoea. Things just got really bad, and his wound on his balls did not get any better.

We noticed him gasping a little, and we thought he was close to death. We held him in our hands, said our goodbyes~ even stayed the night. But he did not leave just yet. He was active, picking himself up each time he had a little bit of energy.

He got more frail the next day. I knew he had really little time left. I treasured every last moment I had with him, and got to bid him farewell~ 😢 Here's a picture of his paw holding my finger.

At 11:07pm, he took his final breath and left in peace 🐹🧔🌈

Thank you for giving us the chance to love you and play with you. It was truly a joy to see such an adventurous spirit in you! From stealing the piggies' food, jumping from heights, getting lost when we let you out etc. We will miss you šŸ’›

In loving memory of CoCo, 04 Dec 2017 ~ 28 July 2020.
